Jetmart RE Rotisserie
I used the rotisserie for a few things but found it hard to reach into accomplish a lot of tasks. I did keep the fuselage on the floor as long as possible. Did all wiring, canopy, and interior paint with it in this position. It was an easy step in. I did not put it on the gear until it came time to mount the engine then used a strap and engine hoist to lift it.

TS Flightlines Update We have made another production run of the Bendix/Avstar version of our flow transducer bracket. Currently in route to the anodizer. Yes a LONG time coming, and we DO apologize for the extended wait. No excuses, but this old man trying to learn CAD, and then going through our steps to make sure things are correct. (Steve takes the file and 3D prints a model, sends it to me and I test fit it.) Several very minor changes.
After getting this mocked up, it occurred to me that we can make another subtle change and make this unit compatible for both the Bendix/Avstar flow dividers on the Lycoming 75009 steel mounting bracket, AND the AFP flow divider on its mounting bracket. So---on the next run, that change will probably be made. Included hardware is the same, fittings for the supply side for BOTH versions included. We've decided to sell the hose separately, because not everyone uses the same servos, and installs it the same way. ( You builders with Superior Sumps know the issue). So the hose will now be separate so we can customize it for your install. Yes--we do have most of the normal configurations (11 just for IO320/360 flow divider located transducer), so you see why we are going to make this separate.

Flying into south TX for a Starship launch?
Hey - My wife and I are planning a trip in the RV-7 sometime after the end of October from the Boston area to Brownsville/SPI to see a SpaceX Starship launch, whenever that happens to be. I've never been south of San Antonio, and this will be our longest trip to date in the RV. Obviously we'll...

RV-10 C-GMMD comes to life
A huge milestone was passed today. After 4 years and one month of building we rolled this beauty out of the hangar and fired it up. The SDS system started up and the 540 ran great. We ran it for about 5-6 minutes and up to 1700 rpm and cycled the prop several times. It wants to fly so bad. Now...

(Price Reduced) RV-8 project for sale in Kanab, Utah
My flying career plans have changed on me a bit, so I'm more in need of a flying airplane, sooner rather than later! As a result, I have decided to sell my RV-8 project to someone looking for a very well equipped -8 that will make for a great winter project and be flying by next summer! I'm...

Do I still need my rotisserie?
I've "completed" 95% of my empennage, fuselage and wing kits. I used a rotisserie during fuselage construction and even though it always seemed kind of sketchy, it worked well and I didn't have any trouble with it. I'm waiting for my finish kit now and I'm wondering if I still need the...

Building Fairing Tonight
So this weekend I sika-flexed the canopy to the frame and last night installed the side skirts. I did all the sika flexing as I had planned off the airframe and would do it again like that. I shimmed the side skirts minimally with foil back tape so they would follow the canopy side as close as I...

Red Cube Mounting to Engine History
I have my red cube mounted directly to the spider divider on the engine with no cube bracket. I am at about 80 hours on the airplane and have had no problems with the red cube. It reads correctly and I am very happy with it. My question is are there others who have mounted in the same...

…perforating main jet to equalize fuel distribution
Suspected uneven fuel/air mixture between cylinders.
New-to-me RV6 with O320-E2A. About 100 hours on cylinders with 1700 on lower end. At full throttle all four egt's are pretty similar. If I reduce throttle a tad, say 90% open, cylinder 3 and 4 egt's jump up while 1 and 2 stay cold. All new spark plugs at annual now have 35 hours on them...
