An additional factory related to this that a lot of people don’t know, is that the original factory demonstrator still has the original runner installed.
It was never changed because the company use of the airplane would never put it in a situation that recovery from a highly developed spin would be necessary.

However, the 9 rudder appears to have been a contributing factor in a number of 7 accident's.

Looks like a longer nose? Either way, the more I look at this plane the more I like it. Can't wait to see it at OSH.

It would be great if Vans green lights intentional spins within a restricted CG range for the -15. If they want them to be used in the training world, this would be a nice addition.
