Yes. Our airport is still IFR, AQI is 294. Airports 20 miles south and 20 miles west of here, METARs are reporting 10 miles visibility. Southeast of here sounds like it might be a bit dicey.
 
Anyone coming from the South-East I wouldn't even think of transitioning Chicago up the lake shore VFR. It's been IFR or LIFR here all day.
