Yep, $704 is a ridiculous price.

I suggest looking at the “Kit Content” page. Most likely you can get the big parts and make the rest for half of this cost.

Tip, use the top plate (that bolts onto the carb or FM) as a template to make one out or 0.015”SS. That plate tends to develop cracks. Also add a support to the front of the box to reduce the box vibration. See photo.
