Wheel pants ground clearance

Looks about like mine - but keep the tires inflated, and don't land with too much crab angle.HB-YMM Right Wheel Pant.jpeg

Whose fairings are these? The trailing edge/end of stock RV fairings are prone to ground strikes on rough fields. The Sky Designs fairings from Ken Krueger account better for this, with an upswept aft end.

It's a choice made at build and hard to "adjust". I have about 1" between tire and wheel pant upper surface. Mine sits on the low side, and when sitting in grass, you barely see the tires. Not a problem on firm turf, but stay away from wet soil. I have had a tire go flat (sitting static), and the pant gets really close...I'm sure a rolling flat would do some damage. I'll cross that bridge if I ever cross it. Here is a pic of mine in grass, and in flight for visual comparison. I am using stock per plans arrangement and tire size.
