Thanks for the help yesterday!

Troubleshooting my trim indicators today, I broke off one of my caution/warning lights. I'd like to find a direct replacement. Does anyone have an idea of where I could find this? It looks like the plastic light sticks through the instrument panel, and then has a nut on the back side with a lock washer to hold it tight, and then is pinned into the connector.

It's the "check engine" light in the first picture (it's now broken off).
They're quite small. Here's a picture of the remains in my hand.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a measurement of the hole; I'll get one tomorrow. I'd estimate maybe 3/8".

go to digikey. you will find many. Those are typically led with the resistor built in, so will run on 12V. some run at different voltages, but wouldn't make a lot of sense to put those in a plane where most everything is 12V. They come in a variety of different intensities and current draws. If the light circuit is dimmable, it likely runs through a pot and you want to be sure you don't get one that draws too much current as you probably don't know what the pot is rated for.

Not sure what trouble you're having with the trim indicators, but those are the older style Ray Allen indicators that have a tendency to short out internally and blow the fuse. If you call Ray Allen, they will send you the new LED ones, I don't think he's selling many of them because most people use the big displays now which can show trim position.

I Just thought I'd save you some time because splicing 15 26GA wires is a whole afternoon of fun. I made sure to do it 3 times, so I've got it down real good.
