When I was still active in general aviation I bought an RV-7 tail kit. I'm an active pilot and former military aircraft mechanic. We haven't had easy access to a GA field in years and it's time to free up some space in the garage.
Not exactly sure what this kit is worth. We moved in the winter of 2018 and I was driving over a mountain pass with the kit in the bed of my pickup. It wasn't raining, but the road was wet and the outside of the boxes got wet/dirty. When I pulled the smaller box out of the bed the box was wet enough that it folded a bit.
The boxes have always been stored on top shelves in dry garages and they have never had anything remotely heavy put on them despite how they look. Just opened the smaller box for the first time when I took pictures for this ad. You can see from the pictures that water never compromised the inside of the boxes. The parts appear to be in perfect condition.
It's my understanding there's some demand for non laser cut kits, but I'm just hoping to get this kit to someone who will build it. So, I will take best offer and would prefer not to ship, but I will. Happy to open the other box, take more pictures, whatever you need to prove the integrity of this kit. We live near Salt Lake City, Utah.
