Today the 39,999th user registered on this site. I recognize some portion of them are throwaway accounts started by (hopefully banned) spam/scammers and people who have passed on and/or left the hobby, but I thought I’d draw attention to the milestone regardless. 40,000 is a big number in my 9-cell brain, and I think it speaks to the popularity of this wonderful hobby we are fortunate enough to be a part of.
