I am installing a GPS175 and noticed there are two ARINC 429 inputs.
I would like to be able to switch between two sources (EFIS - GRT Horizon HX and G5/GAD29) for air data. I was thinking of installing a switch on the panel to select the air data source for the GPS but I am wondering if this is needed at all.
Should i connect my two sources directly to ARINC RX 1 and ARINC RX2?
Then, how would i select the source in flight?
