On my -6, I mounted it in the wing, just inboard of the tip to the back of the spar web. Haven’t flown it yet but it was an easy install. It did require an aftermarket 90° backshell for the servo connector.

Blind vs solid Rivets
I am getting ready to rivet the top forward skin (F-821-1) and the plans call for solid rivets. Unfortunately many of these rivets will be difficult to access without removing the instrument panel, wiring , etc.... My question is: . 1) can I use blind rivets to hold the top skin? 2) is there...

Looking for the correct torque for the 4 Allen screws that attach the Vans engine mount to the Rotax 912ULS. I’ve seen 30 ft lbs but also 44 ft lbs. Also using Loctite 243.

Van's EXP119 exhaust flange weld question
I just received my exhaust kit for my 390EXP119 from my November 2024 FWF order (long story, not this thread), and my first look at the exhaust flanges, as I'm pulling them out of paper, reveal there are gaps from pipe to the flange on all 4 on the engine side of the flange. Outer weld is ok...

Hello all, Has anyone put the G3X roll servo in the wing? If so, do you have any photos available? What is the experience from those having the roll servo near the stick? Do you induce a pitch moment? Many thanks in advance Marcel
