THE VAF LIST (a list of RV-related lists)
Hey, want to see a video of a sick ROTAX 912iS?
Following up on the great fuel leak of 2025, everything is fixed so I figured I'd try to start the Rotax 912iS for another "first engine start" attempt. I didn't expect much; I didn't get much. I did three attempts; none of them were very good with an inability develop any power. A later...

Aft bulkhead blues…
Got a lovely situation on the -6 project. Was reading through some info on the F-612 bulkhead and seems like the one from vans is a bear to make fit sometimes . Input on the repair to make sure this doesn’t happen again would be great!

Dyon Threaded MAP sensor
Hi All----we heard a rumor that Dynon was transitioning to a Threaded MAP sensor, vs the old block style 'automotive' unit. I found this pic, but not being an avionics guy, I thought I'd ask. If this is true, then it would simplify some installs for us, especially where PMAGS and similar...

VAF Charity Cap: Help your charity and promote this site.
Get the cap all the cool kids are wearing! I don’t get a penny. It’s around $15. $5 more if you want your N-number on the back (I put 'STAFF' on the back of mine because it makes me laugh. Put STAFF on yours too if it makes you smile). And down the road $10 to the charity of your choice...
