RV-14 aileron bone head screw up, pushrod attach nutplate- repair advice needed
Was rigging the completed -14 ailerons and needed to 'open' the corner nutplate (MS21053-L3) that attaches to the pushrod via the #3 screw. By 'open' I mean running a tap a little way into the nutplate so the bolt/screw can get all the way in tight. Been doing it a long time and works great...

Can a front mounted governor fit under a -4 cowling?
My engine developed a crack, I need new cases. I also want to convert to a CS prop. On the -4, adding a rear mounted governor requires notching firewall, using a front mounted governor doesn’t require notching the firewall , but the real benefit to me is that the case is stronger. Does anybody...
