Engine mount bolts too short??
I installed the engine mount today and it appears to me that the two lower/inner bolts (AN6-20A) are too short as shown below. The upper two bolts (AN6-24A) have 2 threads showing and the lower outside bolts (AN6-22A) have 3 threads showing. Should I replace these lower inside bolts with AN6-22A?

baffle/Oil Cooler Crack
discovered today, ~350 hours TT RV-6. crack in baffle flange at nutplate, and also a cracked doubler for the baffle cyclinder attachment? Planning to beef up affected area, any advice appreciated for a second owner/non builder.

how does this work?
Just a random technical question for the group. I had to drop an exhaust pipe (long story) and noticed the curious locking nuts used to keep them on the engine. Can anyone explain what the slot does and/or how it holds tight? thanks, -dbh
