My buddy Rob Reece attached the front windscreen on his -8, all sealed up and on for good. Love that all the screws line up perpendicular to the edge of the fairing edge (his Dad used to be in charge of experimental judging at OSH).
Happy for my friend, and looking forward to his first flight.

That's why the horizontal induction sump typically has a sniffle drain. The yuck pools in the plenum. Yours pools in the airbox.

I put mine on after doing the upper hinges. Drilled the rivets out, removed the hinges, layer out the Skybolt brackets (required trimming the flanges), added the spacer strip back and match drilled the brackets. I used 16 with the last one under the engine mount attachment, and just above the vertical lower cowl hinge.

Sudden EGT spike on all 4 cylinders
