These were taken with an iPhone 14 from my hangar as RVs taxied by on the other side of the airport - measured online at 571 feet. The limitations of digital zoom, and the phone trying to compensate….or over compensate…leads to graininess and artifacts. Artificial textures are introduced, producing a watercolor effect. I like it. These images are unprocessed, only cropped.
It makes me feel more artistically creative than I am. ;^)

Vernatherm oil port question on IO 540
