Howdy RV fans! Reminder that best practices for using the classifieds are the following:
1. Only do business with folks with a ‘badge’ under their username. They used a CC to upgrade their account and support the site, so there is a digital trail back to a human.
2. Use Zoom to see and talk w/the person interested in buying or selling. Scammers will NEVER do this.
3. Don’t reply to ‘PM me’ or ‘email me at …..’. Reply in the forums to folks with badges. You’ll reduce the risk of somebody being a scammer by A LOT.
Want to keep you safe and happy. Trust but verify.
