Gear Leg Fitment RV-14A
We are attempting to install the gear legs on our 14A. The main legs will not even come close to inserting into the dog bones in the fuselage. Van's profound insight was to file on it till it fits. But we aren't even close to fitting. I don't feel like I should be filing over 10 thousands...

RV-10 Fuel Return Line Location – Pre-Drill Verification
Hello everyone, I’m looking to future-proof my RV-10 by adding a fuel return line. I’m thinking of using the VA-141 (same part used for the fuel line) and placing it similar to—but not exactly like—the RV-14 setup. Before I drill, I want to make sure the location won’t interfere with anything...

Shawn's -4 re-build
An issue came up that I have not seen a lot posted about. It is mentioned at the end of this thread in post #11 but not resolved. I am having the same issue. Any else have to deal with this? I feel like the tube is too close to the mount, and engine vibrations could cause issues. The tube is all...

BELAATED FIRST FLIGHT REPORT.
My 25 year RV=6 build in New Zealand finally culminated in its first flight last March. Its registration is ZK-LCM, being named after our 3 wonderful adolescent grandchildren, Lucy, Caitlyn, & Max. By a miracle it flew very well despite my contribution. At 83 I am now too old to hold a medical...

Relocate Manual Pitch Trim knob from fuel selector area to left side of 9a ??
For an RV-9a I want to relocate the manual pitch control cable to get it off the fuel selector box. It would be great to have it along the pilot side wall below the vent. If I can not hear of a solution here, I will just cut it off and install electric trim. Thank you, John

Get the cap all the cool kids are wearing! I don’t get a penny. It’s around $15. $5 more if you want your N-number on the back (I put 'STAFF' on the back of mine because it makes me laugh. Put STAFF on yours too if it makes you smile). And down the road $10 to the charity of your choice...
