Thank you for the info. I am still interested so please send a picture when possible.Hi, sure!
This is the original stock part that came with my firewall forward kit. I installed on my airplane and flew 70 hours with it.Have been using since November 2024. Lately, I started a quest to reduce my oil temperature. It usually runs at 195 once airborne but on the ground it reaches up to 220F with cowling flap open.
The weather here in Florida is just brutal. So, there is nothing wrong with the unit. No cracks whatsoever. I just decided to purchase a different oil cooler, from pacific oil, that claims to be High Efficiency with potential to reduce 15F.
With the new oil cooler, I have no use for the original one. So I decided to sell it.
I did not remove the AN fittings to avoid any unnecessary risks. If you plan on using this on a RV-14A, the clocking of the elbows will be per Vans manuals.
I will take picture of the actual unit tomorrow when I go to the hangar and post it here.
Would you mind posting your results with the Pacific unit here or another post?Hi, sure!
