The name of the color is Azzurro Thetys Metallic

Here are a few shots under the sun, we have noticed a slightly change of color between the cowling and the rest of the aircraft and we think is because the cowling was painted probably 6 to 8 month after the rest of the aircraft.

I finished the engine break-in and put the landing gear fairings and wheel pants on this week. Almost finished with Phase 1!

Here's a picture of my "Eagle Eight". First flight was Aug 23, 2004. I now have
100+ hours and am enjoying every second of flight ! UPDATE JAN 2024....... almost 20 years later with over 1,100 hours on the hobbs.View attachment 54365

Update on the update. My 8 was destroyed by flood waters from hurricane Helene on Sept 27th 2024. I believe she is being rebuilt by a gentleman living in Georgia. I sure would love to see her fly again.
