It is with great sadness that I share news of the passing of Scott Wentz, callsign Scott_RV10 on this forum. Scott and I built our 10s around the same time. We helped each other out as builders do and got to know each other along the way. Last Saturday morning, Scott and his instructor, Ken Serzynski, were involved in a crash while flying Scott's 10 and both were killed. Scott was not only a meticulous builder, he was a talented musician, a devoted family man and a trusted friend. He will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday July 8 from 3:30pm until 6:30pm, followed by a memorial service at 6:30pm at NorthBridge Church, 18724 IL-173, Antioch, IL 60002.
