Rocket style air intake

Anybody have a RV-4 with Horizontal Fuel injection? Preferably with the Superior cold air sump? I would love to figure a way to use the Rocket type “smile” air inlet like this:

That looks like the Harmon intake vice the F1 intake.
James Aircraft made the internal fiberglass duct that connects to the HRII cowl.
On my HRII it took some shaping of the internals.

I think scsmith has a duct for a conical filter that you could start with. You could lay up your own smile shape on the intake end.

Since he’s looking at an RV-4 installation, will the undersized filters discussed be an issue?
I too am curious if the Rocket smile has been done on a -4. It does look good.
