Either my search-fu is not up to the task or no one has asked this exact question. For context, we’re looking at new to us houses.
I can get wings up and down basement stairs pretty easily. What I need is height and width is how big a hole would need to be to sneak a QB fuse with a forward windshield and maybe even a canopy through it? I know the fuse without mount is 15’3”.
I designed my last house with a full 48” garage to basement stairwell and door to move - but we’ve decided to downsize, it’s now a different equation. I’m hoping for a walk out basement, but that’s not very common out by me, so I’m weighing Bilco doors and so forth.
