Primer surface question

I recently sprayed a batch of parts with AkzoNobel epoxy primer. A few of the pieces came out with a rough surface from "dry spray". It's nothing you can see, but can feel it when running fingers across it. These pieces take doublers in different spots and I wanted to check if this will create any problems with riveting these pieces together. The primer itself cured properly and is very durable. I've cleco'd the parts together and all holes match up perfectly. I'm not against hitting the mating surfaces with some scotch brite to smooth it out a bit. What say the experienced crowd here? Thanks!
