I couldn’t find a sub-forum on O2 systems - if I missed it, please move to that area…
I’m shopping for oxygen generators to use in my F-1 Rocket. It seems that the most logical place to put the O2 generator is in the center pedestal, forward of the stick.
As part of a panel and electrical system update, I’m planning to put a 12V outlet in that area to run the O2 generator.
Right now, the most promising system I’ve seen is the “Altitude One - Pilot Package” from Pure Medical. I like that it’s (relatively) light and small(-ish), and can be run constant-flow, so the length of the cannula line to the back seat can be long enough (5-6 ft), and still function.
I’m wondering if anyone here has some experience with that system, or can compare the reported specifications to something that they are familiar with. I won’t link the company, as I don’t want to even be perceived as advertising for them. But I would like the opinions of pilots in this community as I decide on what system to purchase.
Thanks!
