Twenty-some years ago, there was a little impromptu RV fly-in somewhere in east central Texas. I dropped in for breakfast, and Doug Reeves was there with his camera, and captured this picture that ended up being widely used in advertisements for many years. (I had hair, I wasn’t quite as paunchy, and my face didn’t have as many wrinkles….):
Today we got up early and moved some airplanes out on our parallel taxiway to capture what we have become - a little set of airplanes and a much older pilot - but as Doug mentioned when I showed it to him “aren’t those the same shorts?” I may not have fashion sense, but I do have a common style to my airplanes….
