..... Canyonlands is the opposite -- better seen from the air than the ground. The scenery from the air in this eastern Utah area is magnificent -- best I've ever seen! Have fun.
Pete's previous thread has been bookmarked in my browser for some time. Definitely on my bucket list! I copy everything Pete does , so I'll get to it sooner or later!We did it a few years ago. It was hot 110-115, but was a great trip. If you put in a gas order, verify it gets done. Ours was not done late the night before our sunrise departure. We had to get the guy filling the airliner to do it for us when we were loading the plane.
We rented an old camry from a local guy who left it at the airport and it worked out great.
Awesome hiking and scenery!! Reflective sunshades for the canopy recommended.....
