leaky fuel-selector - which spare?

That looks like Van's standard 4-way selector valve. It's not expensive:

Thank you. My Intention is to just replace the o-ring but before disassembling, I would like to know if there is a suitable replacement available.

I’ve had success servicing them. Never had one leak but had 2 that became very difficult to turn.
New o-rings and a little fuel lube: good as new.
Anything special or just a new one? Fuel-resistant for sure.

No need to remove the valve from the aircraft.

They are standard O rings at any auto parts store. To replace O rings, just back off the handle screw (don't remove it yet) and pull up on the handle to release it from the shaft taper. (The handle must be removed from the shaft to replace O rings) Then unscrew the top nut and pull the core out. One O ring will be under the nut, and the other is on the shaft.

If you ever find the valve hard to turn, just reach under the handle with two fingers and lift the handle and turn.... this releases the cone.

Does anyone have a tip which spare needs to be ordered from Vans?

MS29513-011 is the O-Ring under the cap. If your tanks are full you will need to drain about 1/2 of each tank to get the fuel level below the selector valve or you will have a geyser of fuel coming out when you unscrew the large nut under the handle. Once removed polish the cone with 400 grit. Clean thoughly and lube VERY LIGHTLY with Fuel Lube. Others have suggested Krytox grease works better.

Dan Horton thread:

I have found Marvels Mistry Oil added to the fuel (0.4 oz to every gallon) prevents fuel selectors from getting stiff or leaking over time. And, it also keeps the top-end in great shape! I know -- Mike Busch at Savvy Aviation doesn't think much of MMO, but after using it myself in three different airplanes over years of use, I know it works! And, I'm betting that Mike Busch has never actually tried it.

I would suggest Krytox 205 as a lubricant. It is pure teflon and does not dissolve in gasolines. It is the only lube for Usher style gas caps, they will never stick again and greatly reduce effort. Thus, unlikely to break things like we have seen.
