My hope is that I have the option to put the new whiz-bang gadget on the left side and move my single G3x to the right side.

The G3X already has that.

We can see two knobs, a usb-c port(?), and six buttons - three of which we can read: Direct to, Menu, and Back.

I also see a light photosensor (probably) between the menu and back buttons, so the screen can auto-dim or respond to ambient light levels.

I just hope it fits into my 10" panel cutouts for the G3X Touch...

-fits same hole
-no more than MINOR wiring
-100% integration with my current GDU 460
-less than about $6.5K
If so, my Rocket’s old single front display becomes my new back seat display.
If not, I’m drooling over the NIB GDU’s at fire sale prices.
