Lost the better part of a day so far trying to sync about a year's worth of Garmin G3x .csv logs to my FlyGarmin logbook. I'm a ForeFlight user, however ForeFlight won't accept the data-rich G3x logs. So my very efficient hack is to import the logs to FlyGarmin, then download the logbook data as a .csv, massage the columns to a format readable by ForeFlight and import over there.
However, the problem I'm up against appears to be Cloudflare, the CDN being used by Garmin. After fifteen minutes pass and most of my uploads fail to process, I get locked out of Garmin completely for about 15 minutes. Apparently it's seeing my benign logbook uploads as a security threat and literally blocking me from Garmin.
Frustration is an understatement. If anyone has any tips on automating the G3X -> ForeFlight tracklog/logbook workflow, I am all ears. Seems like a simple enough process to script, but I'm not that kind of IT guy.
