Fred was a well-known and respected RV resource when I began my RV journey 25+ years ago. We shared messages and ideas back in the day and I always respected his opinion. He was the first I saw who developed boots for the aileron pushrods and graciously allowed me to add his drawing to my build log. Even though I never had face-to-face meetings with Fred his deep knowledge base will be missed.
Sorry to hear about Fred. We chatted many times when I was based in Brooksville, KBKV.
Re his adventures, especially Alaska.
My condolences to his family & friends.
I’m so sorry to hear that about Mr. Stucklen. He built me a great 6A that I love. He helped me out a bunch when I had some rudder damaged by a storm by rebuilding me a new rudder.
He will be missed.
