I live in Ormond Beach Fl and have been attending a local "family owned" flight school for one year now. After numerous flights have been cancelled over and over for the instructor being to hungover or maintenace issues last night was the last straw when the examiner stood me up. Waiting in a 98 degree hangar with a shirt and tie on is not fun all to find out he forgot. Now this was for the Sport pilot cert. but I would like to find a professional affrodable organization where I can learn to fly. Can anyone help?

Try browsing the AOPA website. I did a quick search with the info provided in your thread and found three at that airport. I am sure there are more at other airports in the area. As for pricing and services provided that will take a little more research.
