Egg E-6

Anyone still using the Egg E-6 engine/Quinti prop setup? I have one in my RV-7a going strong. But, does anyone know the p/n of the fuel pressure regulator supplied with the engine?

Hi Bob,

I have an H-4 Subaru. It has a Bosch adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I think I've seen some numbers on it and was able to Google enough information to identify it. You might be able to do the same with yours.

The FPR on mine shows Bosch 0280160001. The problem is that the specs on that FPR show it is a max of 29 psi. The Egg docs say that the fuel pressure should be 40 psi, with one pump running. I am going to try a Holley adjustable and see how that works.

Aloha folks, the one I ran on my H6 was this from Summit Racing

35psi engine off one pump on. you'll need the -6 oring AN fittings also.
if you don't want the run around bypass hose you can have Robert Paisley drill out the inside for a relief vent so the pump can re-prime itself
