EAA Chapter 20 (San Carlos, California) is selling a complete RV12is kit including brand new Rotax engine and propeller directly from Vans. This is a chapter build lead by a repeat builder who already finished and flew another RV12iS through the chapter. Unfortunately life got in the way and he will be unable to complete the second aircraft, so we are passing it on to a new home.
The empanage and wings are completed. Fuel tank done and pressure tested. The fuselage was intentionally left in 2 sections so that we could fit everything inside of a half-hangar, but is ready to join. Plumbing and electrical wiring well underway. Engine and prop are still in their boxes, ready to be hung. Avionics are not ordered, so you can customize it to your liking!

We have about $110k invested all-in. Asking $87,000 (80% of what we spent) or best offer. Inspections are encouraged, but you find the build quality to be generally excellent! There is only 1 part that is known to need being replaced, and we already have the new one in the hangar. If the buyer is local, we may be able to arrange a build space as well. Otherwise, we would be happy to organize a crew to assist with loading onto a truck.
