Check fitment before priming?

For the more experienced builders doing a -15, is it necessary to check the fit of assembly before primer or not? Did you do it, should I do it, or does everything go together so well it's not really necessary? Thanks for the opinions.

I didn't check fitments, but I also didn't prime more than the essentials. The only fit problem that I had was the elevator piece that was incorrectly punched and that shouldn't be a problem if you aren't in the first 10 tail kits. Fitment has been spectacularly good on the wing and tail kits.

The fit was very good on just about everything. Depending on how you fluted, that's the only area you may need to adjust.

I do fit things that are handed, but rather to ensure they are done correctly before priming and riveting. The ailerons and flaps are good examples of this, with the builder having to correctly countersink the correct side, etc. I don't fit parts just to fit parts unless something appears to be unusual or I don't fully understand the KAIs.
