Barry Engine Mounts wrong Parts

If you’ve received a firewall forward kit from Van’s, check your engine mount boxes.

I finally got the 4 sets of mounts out of their boxes and found across the 4 boxes, I received:
5 x 11900-71
3 x 11901-73

I.e. one box had 2 x 11900-71 in the box.

Obviously I am unable to hang my engine without the additional -73.

Vans was happy for me to return them and have them swapped with a box containing the correct parts, but they are backordered until July.

When I asked for a refund at today’s prices so I can buy a set at spruce, they said they would only refund what I paid ($180). They are currently $230 at Vans and $250 at spruce. So I’m down $70 or can’t hang the engine until July.

Thanks for posting this, I will be checking my mounts out today to verify that I have the right parts on hand for the eventual arrival of my engine. Sorry to see this!

You should still be able to mount the motor...
Just place the wrong mount in a location that can be easily replaced when you get the correct part.
