I am doing wheel and leg fairings now - project is up on pipe stands and sawhorse. Engine is removed for other work. Am looking for tips on safely removing the wheels - been a while since installation. I will use an engine hoist to secure the forward lifting point for safety. Also fashioning 4x6 blocks on a motorcycle jack for more security to the pipe jacks.
What else to do? Am thinking heat gun on the wheel prior to first efforts. Thanks for any tips. Careful work here.

Heat gun?
I can’t think of any situation where a heat gun would be needed to remove a wheel.
Is there other plane owners or builders around that could assist you in this task?

Disregard. Both wheels came off quite easily, hand pressures only. Surfaces still quite shiny, light surface lubrication apparent, no lurking corrosion to be concerned about (hence heat gun considerations). No problems.
