Is this the norm?

Placed an order on the 10th for items that showed in stock and still nothing. No update or anything just my confirmation email when I placed the order.

Completely in line with my recent experience. There's a good chance the items aren't actually "in stock".

Placed an order on 7/6 for a 10' longeron, shipped 7/13 via LTL... and shockingly still for the flat rate. No complaints!

They routinely ship things pretty late for me. I even called to place an order a few weeks ago to confirm everything was ready to go, paid for the 2 day shipping, was promised it would go out that day and then even after several phone calls to check status it took about 2 weeks to get. Their shipping dept seems to not be on the same level as the main office and the guy I talked to each time I called made some comments to that effect.

I assume orders will take weeks so there's no point paying expensive shipping. That flat rate is irritating enough. Several times the shipping cost more than the parts.

Thanks guys, just seems sub standard from an aviation company but if this is the norm its the norm
