Wing Spar Cap Double holes misaligned?

Timely email from Van’s. I was about to rivet the left wing skins this weekend. I definitely have a very slight mismatch, left spar (kit 150066 shipped 1/8) a little more pronounced than right (shipped later as backorder). I can get #30 cleco’s into every hole, but tight fit. When I cleco’d every third, remaining cleco’s were easier to insert, so definitely pulling the material together. I submitted my report with photos to Van’s. Pausing wing assembly for now. Tail kit is to be delivered Tuesday, so maybe I’ll get the inventory done before leaving for Oshkosh.

Well, that's weird, I did not get that notice? So far though, no problem.

Clecos didn't move my misalignment at all. This is latest response from Vans, I think it is unacceptable. Thoughts?
The current process is to use "persuader pins" to align, and then cleco. This will need to be repeated before any further action is taken for the remaining part of the spar. Once this is complete, remove one cleco, ream to size, and then reinsert the cleco. This should be done one at a time for the remainder of the spar. If you have any questions or there is any confusion at all, please let me know or reach out to the builder support team.

Good news, Vans is sending me a new spar. Just got the call and email this morning. Glad they are making it right.
That's great news! Hopeful they'll do the same for the rest of us as well. I tried the Cleco Trick as they requested. It was difficult to get the clecos in, but after inserting them as directed I still couldn't get a rivet to pass through like they do on the other spar. Hopeful to hear some direct communication on this issue. (Sadly, suprisingly difficult to get responses)
The cheap punch set found in the aviation aisle at Harbor Freight Tools tends to be very persuasive.
