Oil change question…
Any of you like me, laying out the screws to your cowl on a rag in piles relative to where they go? And yes, that small snap on ratchet and pair of lineman pliers were my father‘s.

Also, I use a geology field loop to inspect whether they need replacing. Possible OCD I freely admit, and yes I keep a geology field loop in my pocket next to the signal mirror. Your taunts do not bother me. ;^). (slightly out of focus - hard to photograph)

Also, on the drive home I passed a white crossover pulling a trailer with a naked 8A fuse on it - headed west on 1171. Tapped ‘save clip’ on the dash and grabbed this still from the playback, left camera. Seen in the wild! 1329 local.

Hope ya have a nice hump day.

This is what I fabricated to keep track of my cowling screws. The aluminum disk was from a lightning hole I had to cut out from my slow build -6A.

I would never taunt or flame anyone....each to their own. I just put all the screws in a small Tupperware container. I only have 4 #8RH, 2 #8 FH and 6 #6 FH. Easy enough to remember what goes where. I have a cordless gyroscopic screwdriver which is great. If the screwdriver jumps the screw gets replaced. It's important to use the correct bit and replace them when they start to round.
