Instrument panel rivets

The drawing 25 calls for #4 rivets with 5/8 spacing along the bottom of the instrument panel. Seems way too close together. Is this correct or a typo on the plans?

Well the F-302B is only a couple of inches long, so that’s only a few rivets holding the bottom of the panel on each side. Its not all along the bottom of the panel.

Thanks, I now see it’s only 2 1/8 long. Completely missed that!

The “simplicity” of the RV-3 drawings make it clear that building one is a Graduate exercise……
