Just wondering if anyone would like to join up for a trip to Savannah, Ga or maybe South Carolina. Wife and I are planing a trip down south on or about Oct 7 return about 10th or so for a long weekend. We'r flying a RV-6 VFR and would like to join with a couple for our first long X-country.

P.S. Are you guys going to the fly in at Sterling-Rock Falls (KSQI) this weekend?

Forgot

I forgot to say that we're based at Clow (1c5) west of Chicago.
No real flight plans yet. Planing on about 2.5-3 hr. leg for comfort stops.
Is the Whiteside fly in this weekend? We could be there for a meet

Rich,

The Fly in at KSQI is both days this weekend. I'm planning on flying down on Saturday morning.

I'm in a -6A. White with red, green & blue trim. Tail number is N13EN. Hope to see you there.

Ben

P.S. My wife & I were (are) planning on going to LOE, but GA / SC seems like a good alternative, unless there is too much hurricane damage.

Saterday

Great, will try to get there Sat. Weather should be clear by then.
As for a flight plan, I was thinking 1c5 - 8a3 for fuel and than sav. 672 NM.
Cross at low end of the montins. They bother the wife.
