I installed the windscreen, built up a little with clay, then covered with packing tape. Then layered on the fiberglass. Once done i drilled holes, I installed nutplates in the dash, then finished the fiberglass.

Has anyone replaced a windscreen? I have crazing in my windscreen and I?m looking for advice and options to replace it. I noticed some builders have used aluminum fairings, but that was on a 7. Since the cabin is fiberglass I?m assuming that wouldn?t be a good idea? Thoughts? Or just dig...
