The weekend was a little dynamic around here, although nothing like what the folks in Nebraska and Oklahoma recently went through. Gusting over 30 kts Saturday and some pretty intense thunderstorms Sunday morning. Pretty windy Sunday afternoon. Never made it out to the hangar, and that is pretty sad. On the upside, I mowed the yard before the storms and put a new battery in the ‘ol scooter - used it to go to the grocery store. About as suburban and boring as it gets…. I have phenom 300 recurrent, a molar crown etc. on the horizon, so I'm just kind of laying back resting this weekend 
. The days of unending energy have long since past .

I need to shorten this throttle cable extension (not sure what it’s called) by about 1/8” of an inch. I had to adjust the throttle arm on new carb due to some geometry issues ( cable hits oil pan at full throttle ) and it needs to be shortened by 1/8-1/4”. Or can these be cut ?
