This looks like a fun event to attend. Camping alongside the runway, lots of interesting planes, and right about the right time for the Bluebonnets to be in bloom.

Llano is #1

We spent the night in Llano last April while delivering an RV-10 to it's new owner in Phoenix. I cannot say enough about the airport and the folks that run it. They let us use the courtesy car overnight for no charge. Just put some gas in it. (old city Crown Vic cop car complete with spotlight at drivers window!) Great little airport and a classic TX hill country town. Do not miss Coopers BBQ in town!
