The static lines connected to my instruments appear to have been intentionally cut and the instrument static ports opened to the behind-instrument-panel pressure instead.
Is there a good resource for where I can read about good static line materials/connectors/configuration to avoid water/condensation/leaks/kinks/aging?
I'd just re-connect them with some tubing but I'm guessing there's a reason they were cut in the first place, and I'm looking for pointers on how to check the existing setup for issues and how to do this right.
