I’m about done installing the long cowl on my 6a and started the MK1 ram air system. Does anyone have or know of a build log of how the hot air trap door is done? I cut the hole out, trimmed the fiberglass as per instructions but that 2 1/4 door in the template in no way will block the air from the front side air flow. The size required is just too big for the door mount. Is there something I’m missing here. Wanted to reach out before I just give up on the idea. Appreciate any help.
