Overnight recommendation in TX

I am looking for an overnight stay somewhere from Dallas to Abilene. I have done Granary, Addison and Sherman.

Looking for a new convenient overnight stop.

Texas overnight

Depends on your route, but Fredericksburg, T82 is a good stop. Hangar Hotel, Pacific War Museum and other things.

Take a look at Graham RPH; cheap SS fuel with a Holiday Inn Express a short walk up the street. When I stayed overnight the airport manager gave me a ride to the hotel... he's a good dude, and doubles as the shop A&P.
