Nutplate with epoxy resin how to remove

I missed a nutplate while working on the gear leg fearing and completely filled in one of the nutplates with epoxy resin (with flox).

Best way to remove the epoxy without damaging the threads?

Drill through with a smaller bit start a few threads with a tap. If you feel resistance stop. Remove the tap and install a proper size screw with a lubricant. Should easily work its way through.
