I'm New Here
Hi everyone,

My name is Samuel, and I’m excited to finally join the Vans Air Force community. I’m based in Norway and currently fly here, with a strong interest in experimental aviation and RV aircraft. I’ve spent some time reading through the forums and have been impressed by the depth of knowledge and the willingness of members to help one another. I’m here to learn as much as I can, follow build projects, and connect with fellow pilots and RV enthusiasts. Hopefully, I’ll be able to contribute along the way as well.Thanks for having me. I look forward to getting to know everyone and being an active member of the community.

Thanks! Yes, I’ve been there a few times with my family. It’s one of the better aviation museums here in Norway, and we always enjoy visiting. If you’re ever over this way, I’d definitely recommend making time for it. They have a nice collection of military and civilian aircraft, and it’s well worth the stop.
 
Welcome Samuel. I've always dreamed of visiting Norway. I probably have distant relatives there. My dad was first born in the US of Norwegian immigrants. Wouldn't it be funny to knock on a door and say "Hi Uncle or Auntie".

As others have said, define your mission. Do you have a wife/girlfriend/significant other who will be flying with you often? If so, will they be OK with tandem seating, or will they prefer side-by-side?

Aerobatics?

Or, do you need more than 2 seats?
