In addition to the books, I also have a large storage unit that needs to be unpacked that is filled with RV and certified aircraft-related items including:

A well-made wing stand that is now starting to gather lots of dust. It is heavy duty, made from Van's design for RV-6,-7 wing plan forms. It is on castors, padded and designed so that a wing can be laid flat on the top and easily rolled to a fuselage for assembly. Not so much an issue on later planes but extremely helpful on -6(A)models with the interlocking wing spars.and close tolerance bolts. you will need at least an 8 foot or larger trailer to haul this. But hey, its free.

-A mobile weighted- tail stand that rolls and will break down into 60 lb components for transport., (260 lbs.) I have used it on an RV and Piper planes
-Two heavy benches or scaffoldings meant for working on the top of the fuselage, canopy, tail, etc. They won't tip if you stand on them.

A couple of shop made wing jacks fabricated using HF jacks, a set of custom jigs for aligning and trueing up the wing control surfaces and a custom tire balancer that is very accurate.

An engine disassembly stand and accessories that I designed that will hold most aircraft engines, Lycoming, Continental, Franklin and other brands. It will also disassemble. Similar to what you can buy, but stouter.

Some engine tools, a compression tester, (I think) and some Lycoming tools. A couple of very old but very low time Icom radios.

A lot of tools, some jigs, a rack of AN hardware inc. rivets, spare angle, J-stringer, hinges, a converted parts stand for holding disassembly components

Two very sturdy workbenches from EAA plans, sheet metal and lots more. Also more books, pamphlets, articles, a complete set of Lycoming pubs up to 2018 when they went paperless and three decades worth of odds and ends.

Who ever comes and picks up the wing stand gets first shot at the rest of the gear in the storage unit. Its in Abilene TX.

If you are interested in any of this, PM me. That way, I know you are a forum member and not some outside scalper. I will send you my phone number and we can go from there.

In the old days, the honor system and one's word was good on VAF.net but apparently that is not the case anymore. If you have doubts about my validity , check my posts which go back twenty years.

I am not giving this stuff away, I worked too hard to assemble it all, but if you are interested you will get a more than fair asking price. PM me for questions. I will try to check the forum as frequently as I can.
